We could not believe our eyes when we first saw Brittany. She had no hair on her body because she was covered in mange and she was so skinny she could hardly stand. Seven puppies with her also had mange and someone had thrown them out on a back road where the dog catcher picked them up. Things did not look good for this dog family. But they were brought here by the Nelson County SPCA and brought back to health. All of the puppies found new homes and so did Brittany. But she decided that she belonged here with us and two times the people who adopted her brought her back. Now she will stay here with us forever.
